Hemimorphite
Stefanie Mine
Bleiberg District
Carinthia
Austria
6 x 4 x 2.5 cm

This Hemimorphite is stunning. The crystals reach up to 8mm and are very lustrous. You know the locality for Wulfenite or Galenite specimens but I bet that there's not that many of you that have already seen good Hemimorphites from the Bleiberg. Well, this here is your chance to get one. For me this specimen is undamaged. As there are many crystals there might be some that are not perfect - I didn't see them.

Aragonite
Leogang
Saalfelden
Salzburg
Austria
6 x 4 x 3 cm

The Leongang has been famous for it's Aragonites. This one has crystals up to 15mm, but there's a lot of broken crystals. So this is nothing for people that search for a perfect Aragonite specimen, but it's very difficult to find undamaged Aragonite from this locality by now. I just offer this specimen here because I found a better one for my collection (also with damage;)).

Scheelite on Quartz
Schlaggenwald
Boehmen
Czech Republic
7 x 4 x 3.5 cm

This specimen is really great. It has about 50 Scheelite crystals, some of them reach up to 2mm. Scheelites of this quality are not easy to obtain from this locality. A specimen like this shouldn't be missing in any collection. A true classic. The bottom has been sawn for better display but the specimen is undamaged.

Wulfenite
Mezice (Mies)
Slovenia
9 x 7 x 3.5 cm

Even though this specimen has some missing crystals, I acquired it because it features two different crystal shapes that occur from Mezice. It has blocked crystals up to 8mm and pyramidial crystals up to 6mm, there are even some double terminated-xx. The Wulfenites have a good orange color. Matrix is Quartz with some Galenite.

Apatite on Quartz with an old Freiberg label
Schlaggenwald
Boehmen
Czech Republic
7 x 6 x 4.5 cm

A very classic locality. The Apatites have up to 8mm and have little damage. But nevertheless a specimen you should own, and as it comes from the famous "Mineralien-Niederlage Freiberg" it can't be that bad.
